Commutative subalgebras of the Grassmann algebra

It is shown that for any commutative subalgebra there exists an equidimensional commutative subalgebra spanned by monomials. We give a necessary and sufficient criterion when a normal CP-map on a von Neumann algebra admits a restriction to a maximal commutative subalgebra.
